I have been thinking about my future career, and the job I want the most is to be a comic artist. Compared with the animation industry, I prefer to work as an independent comic creator and tell my own stories. I already have some comics published online and have gained some readers, which makes me feel more confident about my future in this field.
I have created two serialized comics so far. One is a school-life comedy that focuses on lighthearted daily interactions and romantic moments. The other is a fantasy action comic with a more complex worldbuilding and storyline. These two works have very different styles, and creating them has helped me gain new experiences and skills in my work.

This is the comic I am currently publishing, and it has gained around 50,000 subscribers so far.
I also printed part of my comics and sold them at different comic cons. This experience has been very helpful for me. By meeting readers face to face, I could directly hear their feedback on the characters and the story, and I could also feel their enthusiasm for my work. These reactions are something that online data alone cannot fully show.
As for where I want to work in the future, I prefer to publish my comics on Chinese comic platforms. One reason is that I already have some experience and a basic foundation there. I also have a good understanding of what Chinese readers like, which makes it easier for me to create stories that match their interests.

This is one part of my work, and I have already drawn around 400 pages of comics.
At the same time, I feel that working on a domestic platform allows me to create within a cultural environment that I am very familiar with. It helps me find suitable ideas and themes more naturally, and it allows my stories to connect with the everyday life, values, and emotional experiences that we all understand. From both a practical and long-term perspective, choosing a Chinese comic platform as my starting point is more suitable for me, whether in terms of workflow or creative environment.
